Beautiful stunning flowers, Dutch Iris - mixed
I planted the bulbs In February this year and by the end of June they were in full bloom, and I will have the delight year after year.
Dutch iris are one of the most widely grown iris in the world and make excellent, long-lasting cut flowers. They bloom in late spring or early summer, each stout, upright stem producing a short succession of flowers that provide a bright splash of colour. Use them to give a colourful accent to a well-drained herbaceous border. In the right location, they will reward you with trouble-free blooms year after year. Dutch iris make great early gap-fillers as they do not need much space and are perfect between clumps of herbaceous perennials that will flower later. After flowering, Dutch iris go dormant until the following spring.
Please enjoy my photos.
